Welcoming hospitality made our stay memorable!

the location by the ranga river is stunning, and the wooden lounge chairs are perfect for relaxing. the hot tubs are a nice touch, although they can feel a bit crowded. we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, even if the menu did get repetitive after a couple of meals. it was great to see local artwork throughout the hotel.

From the vantage point of our standard double room, we enjoyed stunning views along the Ranga River, making our mornings even more special, and the warmth of the staff was incredibly welcoming, always ready with tips for exploring nearby attractions, including the impressive Njálurefill, just over 5 km away.

The location of the hotel is stunning, and the views are incredible. Breakfast was a highlight with its variety. However, the room had a peculiar smell, and the dated furniture could use an upgrade. Still, the staff was friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable overall.

The food in the restaurant impressed me, especially the breakfast. Its location near the river allowed for stunning sunrise views. A highlight was the wake-up call for the Northern Lights, which I got to see. However, some amenities felt dated, and the decor could use a refresh. The room's temperature control could be improved. I found it hard to manage. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but few adjustments could elevate the experience.

I felt really let down by the condition of the bathroom, as it looked outdated and lacking in luxury. The food was shockingly overpriced, and honestly, I found it bland, which only added to my disappointment. It was frustrating to deal with staff who misled us about laundry services, making our stay feel more challenging than it should have been.

We had an awesome time here with friends! The large second-floor lounge-bar had stunning views, and the games room was perfect for our group. We even went on a helicopter tour, which gave us the best perspective of Iceland's natural beauty. The food was incredible, and the geothermal hot tubs were a cozy treat after our adventures.

One downside was the restaurant's dinner service. I found my first meal overwhelmingly salty, which was pretty disappointing after a long day.
